Information we collect
When you create an account we collect your name and email address. We also store the books, chapters, and questions you search for so your summaries and history are waiting for you next time you sign in.
How we use your information
We use your information to run StudyPal: generating summaries, answering your questions, keeping your archive in order, and sending you important account messages. We do not sell your personal information.
Payments
Payments are handled by a third-party payment processor. We never see or store your full card number — we only receive confirmation that a subscription is active.
Data storage and security
Your data is stored on secure servers and protected in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to keep your information safe and to limit who can access it.
Third-party services
We use trusted third-party providers for hosting, payments, and AI processing. These providers only receive the information needed to perform their part of the service.
Your choices
You can update your account details at any time, and you can delete your account from your account settings. Deleting your account removes your stored summaries, archive, and history.
Students and younger users
StudyPal is intended for students old enough to manage their own account. If you are under the age required in your region, please use StudyPal with a parent or guardian.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as StudyPal changes. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page.
